Objective:

To obtain a position with a company that is primarily based around web development and design. I am interested in pursuing a career with a company who has a strong knowledge in the areas of standards and accessibility and pays close attention to the quality and detail of their product. Employment Experience:

Hot New Media, Thunder Bay, Ontario (Webmaster)

Hot New Media is a new project for the Multimedia Production program at Confederation College. It is a multi-user blogging system built in the WordPress MU environment. Each student in the program is given their own personal sub domain, and using the WordPress CMS, they are required to build a page that will showcase their projects, resume and portfolio. I am currently the webmaster for this project. I am in charge of maintaining each site and responding to technical issues brought forward by the students, and transferring required data to the server.

Sony BMG Music Canada, Toronto, Ontario (Lifestyle Marketing Intern)

This is mostly a seasonal position in the Thunder Bay area. My duties include handing out promotional material at events that relate or correspond to specific artists, taking demographic surveys for marketing information, and postering around general areas of venues and record stores that are showcasing artists from or related to the Sony BMG roster.

Boston Pizza Arthur St., Thunder Bay, Ontario (Short-order Cook)

I am currently employed here with a part-time cooking position. I have been an employee with Boston Pizza for five years. My duties include cooking, calling orders, cleaning, opening and closing the kitchen, food preparation, washing dishes, and assisting others.
